Le laboratoire d’analyses centralisées d’échocardiographie
(Echocardiographic core laboratory-ECL), fondé en 2010, propose une interprétation tierce des études échocardiographiques pour des essais cliniques à travers le monde, en collaborant en tant que partenaire de recherche avec les investigateurs d’essais cliniques et les sponsors de l’industrie.

En particulier, l’ECL fournit des mesures échocardiographiques pour les investigations cliniques et les essais qui utilisent l’échocardiographie pour l’éligibilité des patients, les critères d’étude et les points d’aboutissements. 

Dr Pibarot est le directeur du CoreLab d’échocardiographie et son équipe composée d’une vingtaine de membres est formée de coordonnateurs, auditeurs internes,  techniciens en échocardiographie et de cardiologues certifiés et experts dans les analyses échocardiographiques. À ce jour, ils ont analysé plus de 30,000 échocardiographies provenant de plusieurs études de partout à travers le nombre, ce qui en fait le CoreLab les plus sollicité et reconnu dans le domaine des maladies valvulaires et structurelles.
